MIA Garage Sale
MIA Garage Sale started in May 1983. Since than, it has been held twice a year,in spring and autumn. We will have our thirty-first anniversary this year.
MIA Garage Sale originally started as an event of support and help international students to have more comfortable living conditions in japan.
Using a parking lot near Fujigaoka station,ｗe sell a variety of goods and handmade sweets donated by MIA members. The Rotary Club and private shops also set up their booths at our garage sale.
You can examine the items you want by yourself. Many also negotiate the Prices.
Some of the popular items are appliances, household goods, Japanese souvenirs and children’s clothes and toys. We MIA members are delighted to see international students and their families smiling and looking happy at the garage sale, which motivates us to continue this event next year.

Voices from international studens:
A cute Filippine couple bought a Jewelry music box (150　yen) and a large-sized T-shirt (150　yen). 　The husband said, "MY wife is my Treasure " What a lovely couple !
I bought T-shirts and a machine that measures my bload pressure. My friends and I come to the MIA Garage Sale every year because we always find something good with very good prices.
The MIA Garage Sale sells good qualities. They know what international students want and need. I bought things like towels (totally new) ,a vase and plates (both were in excellent conditions) .
