伝統文化紹介
Introduction of Japanese Traditions

日本の年中行事の節句（　お正月、ひな祭り、端午の節句、七夕祭り、お月見など）を
留学生や外国の方たちに紹介する活動です。
会員宅で、手作りの伝統料理を囲みながら節句の雰囲気をたのしみます。


毎年ホームステイをしながら桐蔭学園で学ぶ留学生（アメリカからの高校生、ニュージーランドからの中学生）に、折り紙、書道、生け花、茶道、琴演奏などを実演、指導して、日本文化の一端に触れる機会を提供しています。

,We invite our foreign friends to our houses to share the celebration of traditional five seasonal festivals such as the New Years Holidays, Girls Festival, carp streaming on Boy’ Day, Star Festival and Moon Viewing Festival.

 
We also introduce Japanese culture(Origami, Calligraphy, Ikebana, Tea Ceremony, Koto, Kimono) to high school students from the United States and junior high school students from New Zealand who participate in a home stay program  at Toin Gakuen.
